Department of Computer Science Engg
The mission of the Department is to serve the society by enabling students to create the right model for a problem & devising the appropriate mechanizable techniques to solve it.
The Department attempts to instill in the students and the faculty the attitudes and values that will prepare them for a lifetime of continued learning and leadership. It takes the responsibility for conducting all the computer related activities for all other departments of the college like providing training in soft skills, conducting workshops, development and maintenance of software & website, conducting various programming and gaining contest for the students as well as staff members.
The Department offers core academic strength in many areas including Computer architecture, programming languages like C, C++, Net, Java etc., Computer Networks and Databases like Oracle 10 .i, Multimedia, Computer Graphics, distributed and parallel computing and Software Engineering.
The Department has more than 10 well equipped labs with latest Software facilities. In order to make the course practical & more jobs oriented, we have following laboratories:
The Department is having MSDN Academic alliance Subscription which provides unlimited access to latest technology for students and faculty and empowers the department to load any no. of copies on their lab machines. It contains software’s used for instruction and non-commercial research. It provides additional resources like projects, tutorials and white papers.
The students are encouraged to undertake live projects in the department and they have developed various projects successfully like Online shopping, Project Management, Telecommunication Operating system, Media Player, search Engine Optimization, Learning Tutor etc.
