At LCET we promise an atmosphere for all students to acquire the skills empower them to command respect and recognition in Industry and Community at large.
The Training & Placement Cell at LCET is involved in three specific areas:-
Placement of outgoing Graduates
Industrial Practical Training of students during the four years B.Tech & MBA programs.
CTP Cell arranges training for students in industries for 4 weeks at the end of 4th Semester and 6th Semester. Students undergo Six months training at various prestigious organizations. The students act as a channel of communication with the industries.
All the reputed organizations including MNCs come to the college for campus recruitment. To achieve its goal, the Training and Placement Cell work towards recognizing the core competencies of students. It works through a close knit organization and has a structure which conveys information to the students at the fastest possible rate. A common placement brochure for all branches is published.
The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’. In order to accomplish ‘Industry-Institute Interaction’, it organizes technical talks and national seminars to provide a platform for the building engineers to interact with professionals from various industries. It encourages visits to the industries by the college students & arranges for industrial problems to be worked on by the students as part of their projects. It also takes suggestions from members of industry regarding designing/changing of curriculum.
Placement Cell at LCET has constantly networking with business houses and industry to update the list of prospective employers and synchronize the training inputs to skill levels of students at the required level in Industry. Placement Cell facilitates the students in organizing campus placements. LCET has established brand equity in ‘Human Resource Market’& LCET graduates enjoy good reputation among industry in the domestic as well as international market.
Also it gives me an immense pleasure to learn that LCET is bringing out a souvenir for the year 2011. The publication of the souvenir is an appreciable feature. It is needless to say that the souvenir is indeed a positive channel to harness the creative talent of young students.
